This was literally what we both wanted and asked for, and they got it ALMOST perfect, but this was what would have really sold it. I love the movie version, I prefer THIS version. I love how american movies are always like: yeah, let's make this scene of a giant monster destroying a city, millions of victims in the span of a few minutes, but let's focus for a moment on this usa soldier saving one mama and his kid, this is definitely going to turn off the drama of the situation.

experiencing this in a full theater that roared in excitement made this moment amazing. Though i always appreciated Godzilla as an Icon of monster movies, i was never that drawn to the movies so i completely forgot about the atomic breath and boy was this an incredible f#*king reveal for me, i gasped & goosebumps were out of control. The sheer scale, the lighting, the sounds, it was visually breath taking, no pun intended.
